I have been playing regularly with Parkdale Orchestra since the 2012-2013 season while first pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology and then a Master’s degree in Human Geography.  It has been wonderful to see the viola section grow both in size and in confidence during my time here. Starting in the 2016-2017 season, I have also taken on the challenge of becoming Parkdale’s Personnel Manager and in that role I have had the chance to meet many more of the orchestra’s current players as well as prospective players looking to join the orchestra. I enjoy playing with Parkdale because the repertoire is varied and challenging. In addition, the musical community is welcoming and supportive.
