Anne Shea began playing cornet at the age of seven and went on to play trumpet with the Nepean All City Jazz Band and the Ottawa Youth Orchestra in high school. Anne joined Parkdale Orchestra in 1997, becoming principal trumpet in 1998. In addition to performing with Parkdale, she is also a member of the Concert Band of Kanata. Playing in Parkdale gives Anne the opportunity to perform a challenging and diverse repertoire, and allows her to share her passion for performing classical music.
